Postponed - Beach Buddy Clinic - Sails & Boards

This clinic is postponed to Sunday August 16 because it's windy on Lake Erie today so the leaders are going sailing (no friends on a windy day!).

For new and intermediate-level sailors looking to learn from TWC’s volunteer experts, join us at this free clinic.

TWC Beach Buddies will dig in to the scariest topic for new sailors: choosing the right gear. Learn about the different types of sails and boards, what to look for when buying, and get an idea of price. We'll also demonstrate the basics of sail trim and how to rig your sail for various conditions. 

Take the opportunity to ask questions about the day’s topic as well as any other questions you may have, our Buddies love to help! (No instruction will take place on the water, for on-water instruction please sign up for Next Step or Intermediate Course.)

All participants must wear a mask since we will be standing close together.
