Toronto Windsurfing Club Fall Regatta

The final chance to race this year at the Toronto Windsurfing Club!

Over the course of 2 days there will be a regatta for Techno 293, iQFoil & Open WindFoil. Anyone interested in T293 can use any sail under 7.8m except youth under 15 which need under 6.8m sail.

Saturday, October 16, 2021

  9am   - Registration

  11am - Competitors' meeting

  12pm - First warning signal (5 races scheduled)


Sunday, October 17, 2021

  11am - First warning signal (5 races scheduled)

     3pm - No warning signal after this time


Fees

There is no entry fee. Those needing Techno 293 boards can have one provided by the club for free.


Courses

Courses to be sailed will be windward/leeward or slalom. Target time for each race is 20min with a limit of 40min to finish.


Scoring

Three races are required to be completed to constitute a series

  • When fewer than 5 races have been completed, a board's series score will be the total of her race scores
  • When more than 5 to 10 races have been completed, a board's series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.


Prizes

Prizes will be given to boards placing first, second and third in each class with five or more entries; to those placing first and second in classes with four entries and to the first place in classes with three entries.

Other prizes may be awarded.


COVID 19 Notice

Due to the ongoing restrictions on gatherings, we will be limiting attendance to 100 people and adhering to the City of Toronto guidelines for outdoor gatherings. These require that every member of the public who is outdoors at an event must wear a mask or face covering in accordance with applicable regulations unless they are entitled to an exception noted in the regulation. Masks are mandatory indoors (including change rooms, washroom and storage containers) and capacity limits are in place.  We ask that all attendees adhere to these protocols for the protection of all in attendance.

Participants will be screened upon registration on the day of the event. Please stay home if you are not feeling well.
