Mammoth Marathon 2025 


Calling all fun and adventure seekers—this is the event you’ve been waiting for!

Over 2 action-packed days, we host a variety of race events with courses of all sizes and difficulty levels—including the legendary BIG race around Toronto Island. Open to racers of all ages and skill levels, rain or shine.

Dates

  • Saturday, September 20, 2025 → Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Races

  • Sunday, September 21, 2025 → Windsurf, Windfoil, and Wingfoil Races

Register for one day or both! Competitors who finish both the SUP and windsurf races will have cumulative times calculated to crown the Super Mammoth Winner (combined SUP/Windsurf).

Saturday, September 20, 2025 – SUP Races

  • 8:00 am – Volunteer Check-in

  • 8:30 am – Competitors Check-in

  • 8:45 am – Boat Skippers, Crew & Photographers Meeting

  • 9:00 am – Competitors Meeting

  • 10:00 am – SUP Long Course (14.4 km Round Toronto Island)*

  • 10:30 am – SUP Medium Course (7 km, min. 4 racers)

  • 12:00 pm – SUP Short Course (Kids 12 & under)

  • 12:30 pm – Lunch

  • 1:00 pm – Awards & Prize Draws

Sunday, September 21, 2025 – Windsurf, Windfoil & Wingfoil Races

  • 8:30 am – Volunteer Check-in

  • 9:00 am – Competitors Check-in

  • 9:30 am – Boat Skippers, Crew & Photographers Meeting

  • 10:00 am – Competitors Meeting

  • 11:00 am – Long Course &. Medium Course Start

  • 11:30 am – Short Course / LTW Student Course** (~1 hr)

  • 2:00 pm – Lunch

  • 2:30 pm – Awards & Prize Draws

* Note: Participants not reaching T4 by the cutoff time will be redirected to the Outer Harbour (Medium Course). Round the Island has a 3.5-hour max time (tow support after cutoff).
** LTW “Stay Hooked” students must register online and contact Simon for equipment arrangements by Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 5:00 pm.

️Course Routes

Choose from 3 race routes each day:

  • Round the Island (Long Course) – 14.4 km around Toronto Island

  • Outer Harbour (Medium Course) – 5–7 km in the Outer Harbour

  • Learn to Windsurf / Short Course – perfect for beginners, kids (12 & under), and LTW program participants

⚠️ Important: Racers must avoid the “Keep Out Zone” buoys near the island airport—violations may result in prosecution and fines. Course direction will depend on race-day wind.

Safety Requirements

  • Mandatory: PFDs + whistle for all participants

  • Leashes required for SUP, surfski, and wing foil

Registration & Inclusions

  • 2-Day Participation – $85 in advance / $95 after deadline

  • Adult (18+) – $65 in advance / $75 after deadline

  • Youth (17 & under) – $35

  • Lunch Only – $25

Advance pricing ends Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 8:00 pm.
Onsite registration also available.

Parking

Parking at the club is limited. Please leave spaces for those transporting boards. Others are asked to park at the main Cherry Beach lot (west of the club) or arrive via bike, walk, skate, TTC, or carpool.
